7 Days to Die Server Hosting
Stop billing between horde nights.

New accounts receive a $10 welcome bonus and 20% off all usage during beta.
Why hourly fits 7 Days to Die
Built for how survivors actually play
7 Days to Die is played in bursts: intense building sessions before horde night, the chaos of the seventh-day assault itself, and then days of recovery and scavenging. Outside those windows, your server sits idle. A monthly flat rate charges you for all 730 hours regardless of whether anyone is online.
Fenrik bills by the hour. Your credits only drain while your server is running. Stop the server after a session and billing stops immediately. Come back three days later, your world is exactly where you left it, and you haven't paid a cent in the meantime.
What that difference looks like
| Play Pattern | Monthly Host | Fenrik |
|---|---|---|
| Casual (40 hrs/mo) | ~$18/mo | $2.56/mo |
| Active (80 hrs/mo) | ~$18/mo | $5.12/mo |
| Heavy (200 hrs/mo) | ~$18/mo | $12.80/mo |
Based on 8 GB at $0.064/hr during beta. Monthly host price reflects a typical market rate for an 8 GB 7 Days to Die server.

FAQ
Questions groups usually ask before they launch
How much RAM do I need for a 7 Days to Die server?
8 GB handles groups of 4–8 players well and is the minimum we recommend. Step up to 16 GB for 9–16 players. Very large groups of 17–32 should use 32 GB. The game is memory-hungry — more RAM means smoother chunk loading and more stable horde nights.
How many players can join my 7 Days to Die server?
7 Days to Die supports up to 8 players on the default setting, but can be configured higher. Fenrik does not charge per slot — you pick your server size and invite as many players as your RAM will support.
Will horde night cause lag or crashes?
Horde night is the most demanding event in the game — it spikes CPU and memory as dozens of zombies pathfind toward your base simultaneously. Choosing the right RAM tier for your group size keeps horde night stable. Our 8 GB tier handles 4–8 players through horde nights without issues.
Do you support mods?
Not yet, but mod support is on our roadmap. Vanilla 7 Days to Die runs great today. Join our Discord to be notified when mod support launches.
How does hourly billing work?
You purchase credits, and they only drain while your server is actively running. Stop the server after a session and billing stops immediately. It is the opposite of a monthly subscription — you pay for exactly the hours you use.
What happens to my world when the server is stopped?
Your world is safely saved and waiting. Nothing is lost between sessions — stop the server after horde night, come back a week later, and everything is exactly where you left it.
How fast does my server start up?
Typically under 3 minutes. You can start and stop your server any time from the control panel.
Can I switch to a different game later?
Yes. You can swap your server to a different supported game at any time from the control panel.
Where are your servers located?
Currently US West and US East. More regions are planned. Join our Discord to stay informed.
Are backups included?
Automatic backups are included on every server. You can also take a manual snapshot any time from the control panel — useful before attempting high-risk activities or config changes.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, DDoS protection is included at no extra charge on every Fenrik server.
What is the custom subdomain and how does it work?
When you create your Fenrik account, you pick a subdomain. Each server you create gets its own address under that — for example, 7days.yourclan.odgservers.com. No raw IPs to share with your group.
